Upledger Institute Poland has been operating since 2012. It was founded with the support and trust bestowed upon us by John Matthew Upledger – the director of UI International in Florida, and John Page – our teacher and friend. Running the Institute requires commitment, energy, and creativity, while also bringing immense satisfaction and joy. We are grateful to John M. Upledger, John Page, and Dawn Langnes Shear for the trust they have placed in us, the knowledge and invaluable guidance that helped us get started, and the enthusiasm that carries us forward. It is an honour for us to promote Dr. Upledger's method.

WOJCIECH GARWOLIŃSKI
Certified Upledger CranioSacral Therapy therapist with the title CST-D. International instructor of Upledger Institute International and the only Polish-speaking instructor of Upledger CranioSacral Therapy. Examiner for Upledger Institute International, authorized to conduct the Techniques Exam.
Wojciech’s career path and personal development proceed along two tracks—he is involved in both physiotherapy and music.
In the early years of his physiotherapy practice, Wojciech ran a clinic in Wrocław, utilizing manual therapy, including the Platzman concept, soft tissue therapy, and the Bobath method. From 2006 to 2011, he collaborated with Preeti Agrawal and her foundation "Woman and Nature."
Wojciech began his practice of Upledger CranioSacral Therapy in 2008. Between 2010 and 2011, he worked on translating training materials for this method from English to Polish. He was also responsible for translating the first training materials for courses conducted in Poland.
In 2012, together with his wife, Anna, Wojciech founded Upledger Institute Poland. Currently, UI Poland operates as a non-public institution for continuing education, and Wojciech Garwoliński serves as its director.
In teaching the method, Wojciech was trained by John Page. Initially as John’s translator, he later became a student, assistant, and friend, accompanying John during courses for many years. John Page acted as Wojciech's official mentor/promoter during his several-year "instructor path," culminating in his qualification as an international instructor of the method.
Since 2012, Wojciech has been practicing at NZOZ Provita in Bolesławiec.
One of his interests is Qi-Gong, which he has been practicing since 1999.
ANNA GARWOLIŃSKA
Graduate of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the AWF in Wrocław. Certified Upledger CranioSacral Therapy therapist with the title CST-T. Co-founder and chair of the Upledger CranioSacral Therapy section at the Polish Society of Holistic Manual Therapy.
Anna is a graduate of numerous specialized courses, a professional hearing prosthetist, and an instructor of the Butejko method currently in certification. She was "raised" in physiotherapy through Rakowski's Manual Therapy and assisted in teaching courses from 2010 to 2015. From 2009 to 2011, Anna conducted teaching activities for physiotherapy students at the off-campus Faculty of Physical Culture and Sport in Gorzów Wielkopolski. In 2016, the Polish Society of Manual Therapy in the Holistic Model awarded Anna a second degree of competence in Rakowski's Manual Therapy. Under her editorship, a book titled "Ćwiczebnik czyli jak zadbać o zdrowie poprzez ruch" was published in 2023.
Anna has been involved with CranioSacral Therapy since 2010. In 2012, she founded Upledger Institute Poland with her husband, Wojciech Garwoliński. A long-time assistant to John Page, Anna regularly assists teachers conducting courses at UI Poland. As part of the Institute's activities, Anna is responsible for selecting and organizing courses, organizing exams and assistantships, and providing substantive editing for publications.
Anna manages the Limbicus publishing house. Thanks to her work, Polish editions of two books by Dr. Upledger: "Your Inner Physician and You" and "CranioSacral Therapy," as well as several specialized articles, have been published.
Anna is a member of the board of the family company NZOZ Provita in Bolesławiec, where she runs her physiotherapy practice.

A UK-based osteopath and cranial osteopath, he learned CranioSacral Therapy directly from John Upledger. Since 1994, John Page has been an international instructor for Upledger Institute International. He founded the institute's satellite in the UK, which he led and developed over the years alongside his wife, Carol. From 2010 to 2022, John taught Upledger CranioSacral Therapy in Poland. He also disseminated Dr. Upledger's scientific legacy in Greece, South Africa, Israel, and Iceland, helping to establish institutes in these countries. A lover of music, cigars, fine cuisine, and coloured socks.
John was a charismatic and demanding teacher who left behind many students worldwide.
